During a data collection, it is possible that your field staff submit incorrect or incomplete responses. In order to get these responses corrected, you can flag certain questions or responses.
Flagging will highlight these responses to your field staff, asking them to fill them again. You can also choose to assign the the new, corrected response to be submitted by another field staff. In this article, we will discuss how you can flag responses on Collect.
Enabling Flagging on Collect
Step 1. Go to the form that you are using for data collection.
Step 2. Enable flagging for this form. Go to the "Settings" tab present next to the resurvey tab.
Step 3. Next, switch on "Flagging".
Once you have enabled flagging, publish the form to update these new settings.
Note: Flagging is a premium feature on Collect. If you cannot see the option, you would have to upgrade your subscription.
Step 4: Scroll up on the page and click on "Publish Form" to make the changes live.
Flagging Responses on Collect
Step 1. Go to the "Forms" tab and select the form that you want to flag data in. Click on the "Responses" tab. Now you will be able to view details of responses.
Step 2. Click on "View" on the response you want corrected.
Step 3. Click on the flag icon for the question you want to be filled again. In case you want to flag all the questions, click on "Mark all questions".
Here, you can also add a note, change auditor, or set an identifier question using the settings on the top.
Step 4. Once done, click on "Flag" button to send these for resurveying.
You will be able to view the flagged responses along with their resurveyed versions in the "Resurvey" tab next to the "Responses" tab.
