If you need to create more than one team, you can create them together using the "Create Multiple Teams" feature on Collect.

Teams help you organize your data collectors into groups so that you can manage them easily. If you are running a large data collection project with multiple teams, you can save time by creating them together. In this article, we will discuss how you can do that.


Creating Multiple Teams on Collect


Step 1. Go to your Collect account and then go to the "Organization" tab.

Step 2. You will be able to see a list of "All devices". Now, go to "Teams".


Step 3. Click on "Create a New Team" to create new teams.


Step 4. You will be able to see a button for "Advanced Options" in the middle of the screen. Click on it. Then, click on "Create Multiple Teams" button.


Step 5. You will be directed to a new screen which describes the steps to create multiple teams on Collect with a CSV upload. Download a sample template by clicking on "Download .CSV file". 


In the downloaded template, add name of the team, description of the team (optional), mobile numbers of the managers (optional), and mobile numbers of the members in this file. Please do not add the country codes. Separate two mobile numbers by adding a comma (,) between them.


Step 6. Once your file is ready, go back to your Collect account, click on "Upload .CSV file" and upload your team file.

Step 7. Next, select the country code for the mobile numbers in your team. You can choose only one country code while creating multiple teams.

Step 8. You can share forms with these teams by selecting the forms to share. This is an optional step.

Step 9. Click on "Create Teams" to confirm creating these teams.
