Collect allows you to change the sequence of questions in your form easily. If you want to change the order of questions in a survey form or move a question to a new place within the form, you can do so using the "Move" question option on Collect. In this article, we will discuss the steps you should follow to do that.
Moving a Question:
Step 1. Go to the "Forms" tab on your Collect web dashboard. Next, open the form you want to edit.
Step 2. You will be able to see all the questions added to your form. Click on the question you want to move.
Step 3. In the bottom left row of the question, you will be able to see “Move” with an arrow icon. Click on this icon.
Step 4. Selecting the new place for this question
In general, you specify the new place of a question as "Place it before question 6" or "Place it after question 5". Collect follows a similar structure where you specify two things:
- Place: Before or After
- Relative question: Name or number of another question in the form
Example: I want to move my question "Please provide your name" after the question "What is the your age?". See the picture below for reference.
Step 5. Choose the place (before/after) and the relative question.
Step 6. As the last step, click on the "Move" button to confirm.
